Electrical Design Engineer – Control Panels – Cambridgeshire – EM/AH104

Salary / benefits: £Negotiable, DOE

Job Term: Permanent / Full Time

Job Outline:

Due to strong growth our client, specialist design and manufacturer of research and control equipment, is now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

Working in a team of skilled engineers, the successful candidate will be taking over responsibility for the electrical design of Control Systems and Panels. The primary duties of this role include:

  • Designing circuits, producing schematics and circuit diagrams.
  • Designing Control Panels and Control Systems
  • Producing electrical drawings and supportive technical documentation

Candidates are expected to possess a familiarity with relay logic, connectors and current consumption as well as an understanding of three-phase electrical power.

Experience of using 2D CAD software packages, such as AutoCad or SolidWorks is expected, and any 3D CAD is a bonus.

The role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer for further develop and diversify their skillset, with a great remuneration package as well as extensive training and development options.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate qualified to degree level and have proven electrical design experience, ideally within a bespoke design environment.

Although not essential, any experience with hydraulic or mechanical design would be hugely beneficial.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
