A market leading manufacturer of innovative testing instrumentation is now looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to support the company’s growth.
With an ambitious new product development programme, now is an exciting time to join a growing team, where you can play a key role within the organisation and make a significant contribution to the business.
As Mechatronics Engineer you will be designing, prototyping and testing mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems to perform their testing experiments in a safe and compliant manner.
In this role you will also be involved in the integration of robots in test instrumentation systems.
Working with the Engineering team, you will assist with transferring new products to the production team.
Identifying and implementing design improvements to reduce product cost and / or improve product quality and performance
Qualifications:
As the successful Mechatronics Engineer, you will have achieved an HNC or higher in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or similar. Ideally you will have also taken the opportunity to gain industrial work experience during / after your studies.
Experience:
In addition to your qualification, you should have industrial experience working in mechanical hardware and system design.
You should be a competent user of 2D and 3D CAD applications, preferably SolidWorks.
Preference will be given to candidates who gained Industrial experience with mechatronic / robotic systems, through a work placement, or their first permanent role after graduation.
Experience with electronics, firmware, software and industrial / scientific instrumentation is of great interest to my client.
