A leading manufacturer and supplier of Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) and HV products is now looking for a Sales Manager to join their rapidly growing team.
We are seeking an exceptionally capable, highly motivated, and outgoing individual, educated in a relevant science discipline to manage existing accounts and resellers / distributors, plus identifying and nurturing new customers.
You will be working with a broad range of scientific sectors, with staff of varying levels of seniority – incl. physicists, scientists, engineers, technical experts, and managers.
The role will include UK and international travel to visit customers and attend trade/show conferences with a hybrid (office/home) working structure when not travelling.
For the right candidate, we will offer a good basic salary and performance bonus. We will also provide a laptop, mobile phone, pension contribution, SIP and certified training where required.
Experience:
Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience of working in sales of scientific or technical products (ideally within surface science). It is important that you grasp new scientific concepts quickly – willingness to self-learn and adapt will be essential to your success.
Having previously worked in a similar B2B Technical Sales role, you should be comfortable working with customers, building relationships and making technical presentations.
An understanding of Surface Science would be a big advantage.
Qualifications:
The successful Sales Manager will hold a qualification in a Science discipline such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
Candidates MUST hold a full clean UK Driving Licence.
