My client, a leading manufacturer of mass spectrometry products, is currently seeking an Analog and RF Design Engineer to join their growing team.
Based at their site in Cheshire, the successful candidate will work on Analog design, low frequency RF and power supply circuit design.
The successful applicant will partake in the specifying and design of electronics hardware, in accordance with the functionality defined by the project proposer. You will generate specifications, verification evidence, and production documentation and production test capability.
This position is perfect for an RF design engineer looking to progress into a more senior role, or a senior RF Design engineer wanting to pursue a career in the mass spectrometry industry.

The successful candidate will have good industry Analog design and verification experience, with hands-on practical knowledge.
You will have a basic understanding of RF concepts (impedance matching, smith charts, transmission line theory, bode analysis, VNA etc.)
Experience in transistor level circuit design including DAC voltage control, amplifier and power amps.
Applicants should have the ability to simulate designs using industry proven tools, and ideally have experience in PCB layout and assemblies.
Knowledge in the mass spectrometry industry is advantageous, however not essential.
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK.
