A rapidly growing fabless chip design and manufacturer in Hampshire is now looking for an ATE Test Development Engineer to join their Engineering Team.
You will lead the test development cycle from pre-tape out “DFT discussions” to “production release” at test partners abroad.
You will be focused on lowering cost of test using high site count multi-site test strategies and pattern centric test methods. You will have excellent communication skills with an approachable outlook.
Whilst you will be based in Hampshire, there may be requirements for cross site support and travel to partners based both overseas and UK.
As ATE Test Engineer you will be involved in wafer probe and final test, qualification and characterisation test solutions for mixed signal semiconductors.
You will be expected to author high quality technical documentation including test plans, characterisation reports and test hardware description documents.
Developing ATE test hardware and maximising the use of available ATE resources, you will support PCB Design activity, guiding PCB Designers with ATE specific design rules.
To support the product engineering team in setting test limits and correlating measurements with colleagues in the evaluation team you will analyse test data.
As you become the expert in ATE Test, you will engage in all aspects of Test, and provide support to Engineering and Evaluation through providing high quality, cost efficient test requirements.
Qualifications:
As the successful candidate you will be qualified to at least HND / Degree level in Electronics or similar discipline.
