Due to strong growth my client who is a well-established designer, and manufacturer of electronic interconnect products, now seeks a Business Development Manager to join their team.
Based from a home office in Germany, you will work with distributors and OEM accounts to grow sales for that region.
You will manage customer projects with product recommendations/configurations during the design-in phase, as well as provide technical advice throughout the design cycle and very importantly through to order receipt.
You will be the point of contact for customer engagement, and as such it is expected that you will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship building skills.
Working with customers via email, phone, video call and face to face, you will demonstrate a detailed understanding of both the customers sector and business drivers/challenges.
In addition to this you will report project/sales status to the Head of Business Development, along with activity status, changing market trends etc.
A strong understanding/background in electronics is essential for this role.
As the successful candidate, you will have a strong background in electronic sales, ideally with 5-10 years field based experience.
It is expected that you will a degree or equivalent in Electronics or similar.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in Germany. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.
