We are now searching for an engineer to join my client’s team as a Clinical Scientist.
Working in a project engineering type position, you will use your Clinical Engineering knowledge and expertise to help provide electronic assistive technology (EAT) and service support to people with a range of complex conditions.
In this rewarding role, you will utilise your experience and knowledge in Rehabilitation Engineering/Medical Electronics/Medical Equipment Management to provide expert advice and technical support to fellow engineers, patients and carers.
The successful applicant will lead and take responsibility for the provision of off the shelf and custom made EAT solutions, including design, manufacture and maintenance, ensuring national and international standards are met.
This position is a part field-based position and would require travel across the South West region.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge of electronic assistive technology, usually acquired through formal training at Master’s degree equivalent level.
Applicants should ideally have a strong knowledge of rehabilitation engineering, medical electronics and medical equipment management.
The successful applicant will have great communication skills and ideally have some experience in project management or applications engineering.
Candidates MUST have a Full UK driving licence. Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
