A global leader in the development of semiconductor processing equipment now seeks a Compliance Engineer – Electrical to provide up to date Compliance guidance and support to Design, Production, Test and Service departments and assist in ensuring products comply to relevant legislation.
Working with NPI and Engineering you will ensure new products meet the relevant directives and standards.
You will create, review and update product Technical File documents, conduct risk assessments and conduct assessments to regulatory and industry standards.
Further you will identify non-conformities, recommend product, and process changes, initiate Fracas fault reports (FRNs).
With key responsibility for Compliance, you will chair and write up safety reviews; support UL, CSA and Semi S2 inspections; and conduct EMC emission measurements and support EMC immunity testing.
Working with other departments you will develop and maintain product compliance, and develop compliance guidelines and training classes for NPI \ Engineering teams.
Assist in the development of Working Instructions, Test Procedures, and manual content.
As and when required you will be expected to visit overseas customers, and also provide appropriate support during customer visits to my client’s site.
Ideally you will hold an Engineering / Physical Sciences Degree, though candidates with HND/HNC and other formal qualifications will be considered.
Ideally you will have experience in electro-mechanical engineering, and compliance.
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK, without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
