A leading designer and manufacturer of instrumentation for scientific and academic research, is now seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team.
Based in Bristol, you will design Electrical Control solutions which will involve you in the production of drawings, BOMs and supporting documentation.
Working to agreed timescales, you will deliver accurate electrical designs, ensuring all work complies to company standards.
You will ensure all work complies with the required market standards (e.g. EN standards).
In addition to creating the designs, you will provide technical information required for manuals and other documentation.
Working with other designers and departments you will ensure specifications are clear and complete. In addition, you will translate the technical requirements into structured modular designs.
The preferred package for the Electrical Designer is of AutoCAD LT 2014 (or later), so you will need to be proficient working with this.
As the successful Electrical Design Engineer, you should hold a minimum of an HNC in a relevant Electrical discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who also hold a relevant professional Electrical qualification such as 17th / 18th Edition / C&G 2382-15 / PASS / BS7671.
The Electrical Design Engineer should have previous commercial experience in the design of machine control systems and should be proficient with AutoCAD LT 20174 or EDA software.
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK/Europe. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
