Thanks to continued success and growth, a leading semiconductor fab is now looking for an Equipment Engineer to support the Facilities and Equipment Engineering.
This is an exciting time to join my client, who are in the process of developing a new fabrication facility which is due for completion in 2023. As Equipment Engineer you will provide support to the current fab production and product development teams in making their devices, within cleanrooms, laboratories and service areas. In addition you will support the Facility Manager in the new construction project.
Your main responsibilities will include providing support to the process equipment in the semiconductor processing facility to maintain optimum tool uptime and reduce un-expected tool outages.
You will drive improvement through data analysis and report tool metrics to highlight significant issues when necessary.
Using your experience and knowledge you will fault find tools such as vacuum, mechanical and electronics.
Working with the other shifts you will co-ordinate PPM and reactive work.
Working with the process engineering team to plan, procure and assist with their drive to qualify new process equipment to meet the process capability and capacity requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed as Equipment Engineer you will be a time served Apprentice from an engineering discipline. And you will have a broad experience in semiconductor equipment and facilities, including supporting a production line.
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
