A leading supplier of equipment used within research / scientific applications and semiconductor manufacturing now requires a number of Field Engineer and Trainee Field Engineers to support customers throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Working from home, you will be responsible for the test, installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training to ensure equipment is fully functional and available to the customers.
This will include organising visits and the travel for routine servicing and emergency breakdown assistance at customer sites.
In addition, you will provide customer training to ensure safe operation and maintenance of the equipment.
You will be involved in all aspects of a Field Service Engineering role, working with customers throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Therefore, living within close proximity to an airport would be advantageous.
The role requires regular travel to customer sites worldwide. Therefore you must be able to commit to regular stays away from home.
Successful Field Engineers will have completed an apprenticeship or HNC/HNC in Engineering, ideally Electrical and Mechanical.
To apply for the Field Engineer you will a proven background in similar Field Engineering role.
You should be familiar with electrical, electronic and mechanical servicing.
Successful Trainee applicants will have completed their Engineering Studies, and ideally have gained some working experience in a similar role.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK / Europe and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passports / Visas will be requested for verification.
With requirements for regular customer visits you must be flexible and willing to travel globally as and when required.
