A leading developer and producer of microdisplay products is now looking for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join their expanding team in Fife.
As Graduate Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electronics for existing microdisplay based products and for contributing to the design of new products supported by the Product Design team.
Reporting to the Lead Electronics Engineer, your main focus will be on a combination of high-speed digital electronics, related analogue electronic and FPGA design.
Your key responsibilities will be design and development of the specialist display products, including debug, and verification of prototype units.
You will be involved in the technical issues of design and development of electronic hardware.
In addition you will support the maintenance of design documentation (requirement specifications, design descriptions, PCB Layout requirements, test procedures etc)
You will be expected to ensure you adhere to Design for Cost and Manufacturability protocols when producing designs.
Qualifications and Experience:
As the successful Graduate Electronics Engineer, you will be a graduate from Electronics Engineering, and have some experience in Digital Electronics Circuit Design, Testing and Debug Techniques.
You should also have some experience in one or more of the following:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
After initial training and probationary period, there may be the possibility for the role to be offered on a Hybrid basis, with a combination of on and off site working. Ideally you should live within a sensible commute from Edinburgh to enable you to visit the site regularly.
