A leading supplier of high-tech instrumentation for scientific, academic, and industrial research is currently offering an exciting opportunity for Graduate Technical Support Engineer join their growing team.
Based at their facility in Surrey, the successful candidate will be providing both technical and service support to customers via phone, email, and onsite when required.
Initially this will be an office based role, providing first level support by supplying the relevant service notes and technical details as requested.
You will also be providing internal support to the installation team with activities including set up and test of products and instrumentation.
In addition to this you will also provide customer support for technical enquiries and questions as well as undertaking installation and set up of product at customer sites.
You will also be providing customers with all aspects of technical support, and as such it is expected that you will be technically strong, with excellent communication skills.
This role is perfect for graduates as it provides them with the opportunity to join a well-established company that can provide a supporting environment with opportunities to progress.
The ideal candidate will have graduated (or will be about to graduate) at a degree level in a technical / scientific subject. Ideally in Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics.
Previous experience in support or service experience is not essential, but strong communication skills are important.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work within the UK and hold all relevant paperwork. Copies of Visas and Passports will be requested.
