A leading UKAS Accredited testing house now requires a Lab Test Technician to support the testing of devices.
Based at their facility in Hampshire, you will work alongside the Technical Director, where you will receive and prepare customer Device samples for testing.
You will prepare and print Work Orders, in preparation for commencing testing.
Preparing and testing of Devices will include the loading and unloading of the test equipment, supporting the testing of samples, running tests, analysing results and writing test reports.
Working to well defined procedures you will conduct the relevant test procedures and programmes, ensuring sign off by the Technical Director.
In liaison with the Technical Director, you will create delivery nots, invoices, and customer feedback, when testing is completed.
Once all test and documentation is completed you will pack and despatch the tested samples with all necessary documentation to the customers.
This is a hands-on role and as such you should have experience of working within a high precision manufacturing environment, such as microelectronics or semiconductor.

Experience and Qualifications:
As the successful candidate you will have previously worked within a similar manufacturing test / assembly environment, and understand multi-meters, soldering irons and XY coordinates.
Alongside your experience in Test, you should ideally hold a qualification in Electronics, Test or Engineering.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification purposes.
