My client who is a leading manufacturer of Optoelectronics, now seeks a Manufacturing Technician to join their growing team.
You will be working in a hi-tech manufacturing environment focussing on supporting and improving all aspects of manufacturing/production.
On a daily basis you will work towards the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures, acting as first line support for non-conforming products and all production related issues and problems.
You will assist with new equipment and process introduction as well as undertaking training and skill certification of operators.
You will also be monitoring, identifying, and reporting manufacturing issues, and undertaking the corrective actions required.
In addition to this you will be involved in preventative maintenance and calibration.
It is expected that you will ensure all processes and procedures are conducted in compliance with quality management system and all health and safety guidelines.
Candidates should be willing to work a basic shift pattern.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, and ideally be educated to NVQ Level 4
Essential skills include a high level of manual dexterity, attention to detail and good level of PC literacy.
