A global leader in semiconductor manufacturing and fab is now looking for a Night Shift Equipment Engineer to support the Facilities and Equipment Engineering.
You will be supporting the III-V production and product development teams in making their devices, during the night shift, within cleanrooms, laboratories and service areas.
Your main responsibilities will include providing support to the process equipment in the semiconductor processing facility to maintain optimum tool uptime and reduce unexpected tool outages.
You will drive improvement through data analysis and report tool metrics to highlight significant issues when necessary.
Using your experience and knowledge you will fault find tools such as vacuum, mechanical and electronics.
Working with the other shifts you will co-ordinate PPM and reactive work.
Working with the process engineering team to plan, procure and assist with their drive to qualify new process equipment to meet the process capability and capacity requirements.
This is a night shift role working Sunday – Thursday, 22.00 – 06.00 (37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). There would be a period of training working 09.00 – 17.30 dependent on experience, but it is not expected to be longer than 3 months.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed as Night Shift Equipment Engineer you will be a time served Apprentice from an engineering discipline. And you will have a broad experience in semiconductor equipment and facilities, with a proven track record of supporting a production line.
