A leading developer of optoelectronic components for data centres and communications technology now requires an additional Process Engineer.
Working as part of the Fab Engineering and Technical Teams, you will be mainly working within the cleanroom as well as lab areas.
Your main responsibility will be the delivery of products to meet technical specifications and timelines. Working closely with the facility, equipment and integration teams, you will develop new optical coatings processes to meet new device requirements for future products.
On a day to day basis you will assume ownership of your Process tool set, directing Technicians and Operators to process R&D and manufacturing wafers to meet schedules.
In addition to running the tools, you will also schedule maintenance as required.
Further you will maintain SPC charts of processes and equipment to establish a stable and robust platform.
You will also be responsible for the documentation and reporting of the processes, change control, process corrections etc.
Ideally you will hold a relevant Science or Engineering Degree plus significant experience in semiconductor Fab.
As the successful Process Engineer, you will have at least 3 years’ Fab experience in Process Engineering and Process Development. In particular you will be familiar with Processes relating to InP Wafers, and optical coatings.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passports / Visas will be requested for verification.
