A leading developer of organic semiconductor materials and processes in County Durham now requires an additional Process Engineer to join their team.
Working in the Cleanroom, labs and office you will be overseeing and supporting delivery of reproducible fabrication processes for O-TFT test device and demonstrator vehicles using semiconductor and display fabrication tools in a cleanroom environment.
Working with the team you will develop and maintain appropriate process control methodologies, understanding variability within the processes and reducing the variability to provide stable fabrication techniques, and support new process introduction in a collaborative but IP sensitive environment.
You will be responsible planning batches, booking equipment, leading Technicians, meeting daily targets etc.
Further you will ensure ensuring inspection criteria are adhered to, including fault finding any issues with the process and dealing with the rectification of the faults/root cause.
You will also be responsible for the upkeep of the SPC Chart data for both batch and equipment.
Previous Fabrication Process experience in a commercial clean room is essential, in manufacturing or pilot production scale environment.
You should have experience in process development and semiconductor device characterisation and have worked at a higher level than an operator in process fabrication.
Key skills and process experience required include plasma etch, photolithography, spin and slot-die solution coating, vacuum deposition and patterning processes.
You will have previously worked at either Senior Process Technician or, Process Engineering level in a semiconductor or display technology company.
You should be qualified to at least Degree / HND level, or higher, in a Physics, Science, Electronics or a related subject, and have significant experience in commercial cleanrooms.
