A leading Semicon Fab is now looking for a Process and Test Equipment Engineers to join their rapidly growing site.
Forming part of the backend engineering team, we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Process and Equipment Engineer to support processes and equipment that result in high quality photonic products.
As a part of the back end engineering team you’ll have a high level of technical expertise to further develop and plan continuous improvements of both processes and test equipment.
You will support and develop production processes and equipment, working closely with operations teams to effectively restore equipment or process breakdowns.
You will utilise LEAN, Six Sigma, other best practice tools and principles for day-to-day problem solving and for continuous improvements.
You will implement and maintain effective statistical process controls (SPC) to ensure process and equipment quality controls against QCP/OCAP.
Providing Process and Equipment support, you will create and maintain process flows, SOP’s and PFMEA’s; and maintain and develop equipment preventative maintenance plans.
Working with R&D Engineering team you will qualify new processes or equipment.
Drawing on your previous experience and knowledge you will continuously improve processes towards lean manufacturing whilst maintaining quality.
You will also compile standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and provide training to other personnel.
The successful Process and Test Equipment Engineer will have at least 3 years relevant experience gained working in Fab Processes, Manufacturing Processes, Assembly or Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance.
To succeed as the Process and Equipment Engineer you must have achieved a minimum of an HND in a relevant Engineering Discipline. Preference will be given to those with higher qualifications.
