Your main responsibilities will be the pass / fail of wafers through the validation processes.
As Product Engineer, you will own the internal parametric performance specification of the product and develop the understanding of causes of parametric failure in product.
Using the knowledge gained from reviewing / analysing failure reports you will work with process engineers to drive yield improvement.
You will ensure that products being accepted into production are parametrically stable. This will involve you establishing systems and procedures to prevent yield excursions and quickly identify issues.
Reviewing and analysing report data is essential, to help you maintain statistical process control (SPC) charts of in line defect control charts to establish a stable and robust processing platform.
Working in the cleanroom to support and improve the processes, and working in the lab to review the data, reports and yield analysis, you will have full responsibility for your product family Yield, and ensuring you continually improve Yield.
