Product Manager – IM3215 FULL TIME, PERMANENT
A global manufacturer of innovative IT products is now looking for a Product Manager to join their exceptionally talented and supportive team and assist the Product Group Program Manager to manage their portfolio of world class enterprise IT products.
As the Product Manager you will work with key stakeholders across the business from engineering design to marketing and sales to ensure my client is positioning their products within their target markets. You will play an active part in developing the roadmap for our products and assist in illustrating the vision and market metrics to support the roadmap plans.
The main elements of your role will be:
- Assist in collating and informing the organisation on market and customer requirements as part of the product specification and design requirements process.
- Deliver ongoing analysis of market segment, competitors and client feedback, collaborating across teams to identify viable market statistics and opportunities.
- Drive product planning activities, ensuring continuous product development with emphasis on user experience, customer value and quality.
- Assist in developing and maintaining business proposals to justify the case for new and continued investment in our portfolio of products.
- Work with the Engineering Manager to create and maintain development roadmap and project plans.
Working with marketing, sales and engineering you will manage the roll out of new products. In addition you will assist in the creation of product and technical marketing documentation.
You will assume responsibility for the control, maintenance and documentation of product IP.
Experience:
As the successful Product Manager, you should have experience in a previous product management role within the IT/engineering sector along with knowledge of or experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preference will be given to candidates who also have experience in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Teams.
Previous involvement in the end-to-end process of R&D, engineering, purchasing and production and to support production price efficiency and operational efficiency is also advantageous.
