My client, who is a well-established manufacturer of scientific components and systems, is now searching for a further Quality Engineer to join their team.
As a Quality Engineer, and reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be the voice of the customer in ensuring that all products are made right the first time, delivered on time and to full specification.
This role is essential in ensuring the delivery aspirations of the customer.
On a daily basis you will be supporting, maintaining and driving continuous improvement of the QMS system.
Working closely with the Supply Chain Team you will also be responsible for the on-site supplier assessments and approval as well as liaising with suppliers to ensure on time supply of conforming materials and supplies.
In addition to this you will also drive continuous improvement activities, and introduce lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of HND/HNC level, and have experience in managing a QMS system within a manufacturing environment.
Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English is essential.
