A leading developer of novel electronics and semiconductor devices is now seeking an R&D Project Coordinator to support their plans for rapid expansion.
Reporting to the Head of Development, at any one time you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple ongoing and new projects.
Working with the leadership team and stakeholders you will set clear goals and deliverables, risk and mitigation management, adaptable project scheduling, resource management and project documentation.
As the Project Coordinator you will develop and maintain project documentation such as prototype manufacturing schedules, project plans and risk registers etc.
You will be responsible for working with functional owners to manage and monitor resources, budgets and Capex, etc.
Further you will assume responsibility for delivery of all key milestones/ gates, and effectively communicating project status to leadership team.
Working with customers and key stakeholders you will manage their expectations to meet project goals and product requirements.
You should hold a minimum of a Degree level qualification in an Engineering or Applied Science discipline.
Ideally you will hold a PRINCE 2 / PMP Qualification which supports your strong Project Management Experience.
As the successful R&D Project Coordinator, you will have at least 3 years experience working in a similar high-tech or semiconductor manufacturing environment, where you have managed complex projects including transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in project management software, such as MS Project (or similar), and MS Office suite.
You should have a proven track record in bid writing and reporting to funding bodies.
