A leading developer of optoelectronic devices, is looking for a Reliability and Failure Analysis Engineer to support their rapid growth.
Reporting to the Test and Validation Manager, you will be responsible for developing the reliability strategy for R&D and product development projects.
You will be expected to define burn-in, validation and qualification test programmes for a range of optoelectronic devices.
Your main responsibilities will include reliability measurements of devices; analysis of reliability test data; failure analysis; managing assigned tasks and deliver them to agreed cost and time budgets; and taking part in required internal and external technical training program.
Liaising between the Reliability, Project and other key Teams, you will ensure all aspects of the reliability strategy are fit for purpose and all involved are familiar with the requirements.
As the successful Reliability and Failure Analysis Engineer, you should be qualified to a minimum of a PhD in a relevant semiconductor / material or device design topic, and have significant experience in commercial cleanrooms.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience working in semiconductor cleanrooms within a reliability, failure analysis or yield role, in particular working with III-V devices.
In addition you will have gained in depth knowledge of III-V optoelectronic device physics and design.
Data analysis skills are also required for this role.
