Owing to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of Photonic and Opto-electronic equipment is now looking for a Sales Engineer to support their sales of Digital Pathology equipment.
Reporting to the Group Leader, you will identify and develop relationships with Customers / Business Partners in order to progress existing and future business opportunities in the UK and Ireland.
As a Field Based Sales Engineer you will be expected to manage and nurture existing customer relationships, along with developing new business opportunities. You will build strong relationships with key influencers / stakeholders within specific accounts and industry, identifying every opportunity for current and future product set and create additional business opportunities within them.
Your key responsibilities will include:
As the successful Sales Engineer you should have at least 1-2 years experience in a field based or internal medical sales role, ideally working with digital pathology equipment or similar.
You should be educated to a minimum of Degree Level in a STEM subject e.g. Life Science, Engineering, Physics or related Science.
Knowledge of Digital Pathology is preferred, but not essential
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK. Copies of Passports and / or Visas will be requested for verification.
Customer visits are key to this role; hence it is essential that you hold a full, clean UK Driving License.
