A leading developer and manufacturer of compound semiconductor devices and MEMS now requires a Semiconductor Process Technician to join their Process Team.
Your main responsibilities and duties will be to fabricate devices for customer projects, based on silicon and novel materials working with a range of processes including lithography, metallisation, dry and wet etch.
You will be expected to regularly monitor equipment and process performance according to procedures, recording data and completing control charts as necessary, responding appropriately to deviations from expected performance.
In addition, you will maintain availability of relevant consumables for designated equipment in the cleanroom, so that effective cleanroom operation is supported.
Assisting Process Engineers in the development of new process techniques, performing designed experiments as required.

Qualifications:
Ideally you will be qualified to a minimum of an HNC, or higher in and Engineering or Science discipline and have experience working in a cleanroom.
Experience:
It is essential you have worked in a clean room environment, and have knowledge of processing techniques such as photolithography, dry etch, wet etch, thin film deposition etc.
Hands-on experience in fabricating MEMS or semiconductor devices would be highly desirable.
