Our client, who is a leading manufacturer of fume cupboards and safety cabinets now requires a Service and Installation Engineer to look after Service and Installation projects in the Oxford / Reading / Slough area.
Working from your home, this is a field based role, where you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and repairing of fume cabinets / laminar flow cabinets.
You will also be installing ductwork (PVC/Polypropylene) and provide post-installation training for customers and perform on-site risk assessments.
Initially you will be working alongside an experienced Engineer, although once trained you will work mainly on your own, and with other colleagues as required.
Working within the M4 Corridor, the aim is for you to return home most evenings. There will be occasions from time to time where you will be required to stay overnight.

Qualifications:
As the successful Installation and Service Engineer you should hold at least an NVQ in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or similar.
A recognised Electrical qualification such as 16th/17th/18th Edition Electrical is preferred, though not essential.
Experience:
Experienced Service Engineers should have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar installation and service environment. Experience installing and servicing medical devices, lab equipment or air conditioning units may also be considered.
To succeed in this role you will have gained experience installing new equipment such as PVC / Polypropylene Ducting and welding.
Experience with filtration fume cupboards or HVAC systems is desirable, however product training will be provided.
Junior Engineers with experience in filtration, fume cupboards, laminar flow will also be considered.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
Candidates MUST hold a full clean driving licence and be able to pass Enhanced DBS & Police Authority Checks.
