My client, who is a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of specialist ventilation equipment, now seeks a further Installation and Service Engineer to support their continued growth.
This is a field based role working from my client’s facility in Hampshire, and visiting a wide variety of customers across the UK.
Within the role you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and repairing of fume cabinets / laminar flow cabinets.
The successful candidate will have both mechanical and electrical skills, and should be happy working alone, or as part of a team.
Suitable backgrounds would be Laboratory Furniture, HVAC, Air conditioning, Filtration, etc.
This role will include some overnight stays, mainly within the UK, but with the possibility of foreign travel.

As the successful Installation and Service Engineer you should hold at least an NVQ in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or similar.
A recognised Electrical qualification such as 16th/17th/18th Edition Electrical is preferred, though not essential.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment and/or experience servicing and installing medical devices, lab equipment or air conditioning units.
Experience with filtration fume cupboards or HVAC systems is desirable, however product training will be provided.
Candidates MUST have a Full driving licence and be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
