A global provider of semiconductor processing equipment is now looking for an additional Service Support Technician to join their Applications Laboratory in Bristol.
Your primary focus will be to keep the Applications Laboratory Systems running to ensure that samples, customer demonstrations and development work can be carried out within agreed timescales.
You will respond quickly to emergency breakdowns. Provide technical troubleshooting and liaise with engineers/technicians. Ensure that effective and accurate communication is maintained between all relevant parties and ensure that information is fed back to senior staff so that all issues may be up-dated effectively.
In addition, you will carry out test, installation, commissioning and fault finding of equipment including operation and maintenance.
Liaising with technical Support and Systems Engineering on any potential or actual system problems.
Looking after the lab and tools, you will ensure that all Lab Systems are kept in a safe state via planned maintenance and safety audits.
The role will require you to work on a rotating shift pattern in line with the rota notified to you by your team leader.
As the successful Technician, you will hold a formal qualification in an Engineering, Electrical or Electronic discipline.
The role would suit either a site-based Service and Support Engineer, or someone who has previously held a Field Service Engineering role and is looking to be site based.
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK, without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
