This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior maintenance Engineer to work in a state-of-the-art integrated circuit manufacturing facility.
An energetic and experienced individual is required to join the team to perform breakdown, trouble shooting and maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment within a clean-room and laboratory environment in a methodical and conscientious manner.
Reporting to the Equipment Manager you will be expected to support routine maintenance tasks carried out by the technicians and be constantly looking for improvements to processes and procedures supporting production requirements in a team environment.
You will maintain a tool tracking system, develop and analyse reports for equipment utilisation and stock control for all equipment.
You will coordinate and assist tool owners, equipment vendors and OEM suppliers with installations, commissioning, servicing and upgrades on a wide range of equipment, supporting ancillaries and facilities supplies.
You may be required to work on a day or shift system as required by business needs with some on-call periods as required.
A safety conscious approach is required to perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all environmental, health, safety and security requirements.
As the successful Sr Shift Engineer you will be qualified to Degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
Whilst a Degree is preferred, it is not essential if you are experienced in an engineering role and hold a BTEC HNC, HND or City & Guilds in an engineering discipline or have received significant Semiconductor OEM equipment manufacturer training.
With previous experience gained in a similar role, you will have experience of working under pressure in a mass production environment, supporting semi-conductor manufacturing equipment or similar.
You should have extensive and safe use of hand tools and test equipment, along with a strong ability to systematically fault-finding on complex equipment.
