A global ICT infrastructure solution provider now requires a Shift Process Engineer to join the Fab Engineering and Operations Teams, supporting product delivery.
Your time will be split between working in the cleanrooms and the lab areas to maintain, develop and deliver process solutions, providing support for process engineering during night shifts.
In addition, you may be required to undertake process manufacturing, engineering development and experimental batches with the Technician.
Working out of hours you will be the first point of contact for all front face wafer fab process related issues occurring during out-of-hours shift operation.
Working closely with equipment engineering and operations teams you will restore down process back to production.
Whilst on shift, it is expected that you will provide effective handover to/from day shift process engineers.
You will work with equipment engineering to plan, procure and qualify new process equipment to meet the process capability requirements that are demanded by product and technology roadmaps.
Drawing on your previous experience and knowledge you will develop processes that are capable of meeting the product specification with high yields and low cost by employing design for manufacture. This will include development of new device processes to meet product and technology roadmap requirements.
The Shift Process Engineer is a key role in my clients business growth, to support their technology development and transfer to volume manufacturing.
You will be qualified to a minimum of BSc level in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
To succeed as Shift Process Engineer you will have previously worked in a similar fab process engineering role.
The Shift Process Engineer covers a 2 shift pattern: 06.00 – 14.00 one week followed by 14.00 – 22.00 the following week, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week with 30 minutes unpaid break).
