My client who is a leading supplier of specialist scientific instrumentation, now requires a further Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team.
On a daily basis you will be promoting a range of instrumentation used in a variety of applications across science, research and industry.
An understanding of X-ray based Microscopy/spectroscopy systems, Cryogenics or Light based measurement systems would be a great advantage.
The successful candidate will be based within travelling distance of my clients office is Surrey, as this role will include a mixture of home and office working, along with customer visits as required.
Within the role you will take responsibility for the full sales cycle of my client’s products from initial customer contact to post-sales support.
You will also take responsibility for both new and existing customers, and you will be providing advice, specifying product, providing quotations and following up on leads.
You will be talking with customers via phone, Skype/Teams meetings and undertaking customer site visits when possible to do so.
The successful candidate will be experienced in Technical Sales, with some understanding material characterisation, x-ray of Scientific Imaging, and/or Cryogenics or similar.
It is expected that you will have a BSc or MSc Degree in a scientific subject, such as Physics, Chemistry or a similar, along with a proven history in technical sales.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK – Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
