My client, who is a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment used in a variety of manufacturing and research applications is now looking for an additional Technical Sales Person to join their growing team.
With a background in technical sales (engineering, electronic or scientific), you will be responsible for the management and coordination of sales activities within the Southern UK territory.
You will work to develop a regional sales strategy with the aim of identifying, targeting and securing new customers and OEM opportunities withing the target market segments and applications.
You will build strong and supportive relationships with both new and existing customers, and drive business forward by providing customers with a ‘high level’ of assistance throughout the sales process.
On a daily basis you will be responding to customer requests for quotations, technical support and service, and reporting activity on my clients CRM system.
In addition to this you will undertake customer visits and technical/sales meetings as required, as well as attending and supporting trade shows and technical seminars.

Qualifications:
It is expected that you will have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Science, or similar.
