My client who is a leading manufacturer of specialist scientific instrumentation, now seeks a Technical Service Coordinator to join their growing team.
Based at my clients manufacturing facility just south of Bristol, you will take responsibility for the day to day administration of the service and upgrade section.
On a daily basis you will be loading sales orders, supporting quotations, tracking progress and ensuring the smooth running of the upgrade and service operations.
Responsibilities will include the review of commercial contracts/orders, checking basic terms are correct and management of associated paperwork, along with referring non-standard contracts to the Contracts Manager.
Working closely with the internal engineering and operations team, you will prepare newly ordered and forecast upgrades for the weekly Quote review meeting and update the internal systems with agreed lead-times etc.
Acting as the ‘voice of the customer’ you will relay any negative upgrade/service feedback to the Service manager to help drive continuous improvement.
You will also help manage my clients CRM to give clean and accurate information and aid company processes.
The role will include customer contact via both email and phone, and therefore strong communication and relationship building skill are essential.
As the successful candidate, you will have experience in a similar commercial/manufacturing environment, and be highly organised with a high attention to detail.
