A leading developer of semiconductor devices now requires a Test Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in Co. Durham.
Your main responsibilities will include maintaining test systems to acceptable levels for production use, ensuring effective and capable operation in both RF and DC modes.
You will ensure test systems and data controls are fit for purpose for production use, ensuring effective and capable operation and correct data outputs.
Perform NPI activities liaising with product engineers and production staff to establish test capability for new products.
Working with Production and Process Engineering you will provide support with Test-related issues and device-level tests.
With your skills in software and hardware, you will develop and optimise test hardware, software and systems.
You will also define RF Test methodology to customer specification including S-Parameter, Noise Figure testing, Golden Wafer, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility tool and product control.

As the successful Test you should hold an HND/Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar.
To succeed in this role, you will have strong III-V Device Test experience, sound skills in LabVIEW coding and operation.
Preference will be given to candidates who have proven experience of working in volume semiconductor test engineering, using microwave test equipment, and semiconductor device characterisation.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
Candidates MUST be able to achieve full SC security clearance, and may need to satisfy further UK eyes only and ITAR conditions.
